Petrobras, Fundación Descúbreme y CorpArtes traen a Chile «Colegas», cinta brasilera que narra la historia de tres amigos con síndrome de Down que, inspirados por su amor al cine, deciden salir al mundo y cumplir sus sueños.
Stalone, Aninha y Márcio son los personajes principales de la película “Colegas” que se estrenará en nuestro país en el marco del festival de cine Sanfic Comunas. La trama gira en torno a la historia de amistad que existe entre estos tres jóvenes quienes, desde niños, han vivido en un internado. Sus días pasan tranquilos entre las actividades escolares y en la videoteca del establecimiento de la cual son los encargados. Esta labor los ha convertido en fanáticos del séptimo arte e, inspirados en sus películas favoritas, toman la decisión de protagonizar una gran aventura.
El filme está narrado en tono de comedia y en él se pueden observar múltiples homenajes al cine moderno y referencias a películas como “Thelma y Louis”, “Pulp Ficción” y “Tropa de Elite”.
La cinta ha tenido una excelente recepción en diversos festivales de cine y ha recibido importantes galardones (Kikito de Oro por mejor dirección de arte, mejor película y premio especial del jurado en la competencia de filmes brasileros del Festival de Cine de Gramado 2012).
Marcelo Forni, Director Ejecutivo de Sanfic, expresó su entusiasmo en torno al estreno de la película en Chile. “Estamos muy contentos de presentar una película que ayude a entender la realidad que viven miles de personas que tienen algún tipo de discapacidad cognitiva. Esperamos que esto genere un debate que contribuya a una mayor inclusión de estas personas en todos los ámbitos. Así como el cine es un instrumento útil para mostrar países, costumbres y tradiciones, queremos que también sea útil para acercar a más personas a la realidad de miles de niños que viven historias parecidas a las de los protagonistas de Colegas”.
En Chile la cinta será presentada por su director Marcelo Galvão y por el actor Breno Viola en el marco de Sanfic Comunas. Ambos participarán de una actividad con el público el día de hoy, miércoles 28 de agosto en la Casona Santa Rosa de Apoquindo en Las Condes.
