Morelia, México – Sin malicia y con el ánimo dibujado en rostro y actitud, los deportistas con parálisis cerebral pusieron el corazón por delante para en la 2ª. Ruta Ciclista 2013 para Personas con Parálisis Cerebral.
Fresca mañana de domingo y la avenida Madero libre de tráfico, esperó la llegada de los visitantes del Estado de México, Tamaulipas y Distrito Federal así como a los anfitriones de Michoacán que confiaron en el gobierno municipal de Morelia y con entusiasmo no dudaron en participar en esta justa creada especialmente para quienes presentan esta discapacidad.
Imponente la catedral moreliana fue mudo testigo del arribo de visitante y de los de casa; ellos, los competidores son ángeles del cielo. Para sus padres son un regalo de Dios y para nosotros, un ejemplo grande” dijo Aurorita Gutiérrez, trabajadora de la Dirección de Aseo Público del Ayuntamiento que reflexiva, detuvo su carrito de limpieza para observar a los deportistas visitantes que llegaban apoyados por sus familiares.
Y es que ocupan de esa mano amiga y protectora para realizar sus actividades y a cambio, prodigan sonrisas y abrazos a quienes les rodean; ellos, los ciclistas, dan amor sincero, “son una bendición” abundó y continuó su andar por el Centro Histórico que junto a otros trabajadores mantienen impecablemente limpio.
Nuevamente, Morelia reiteró su proyección al mundo, como una sede segura, cálida y preparada para recibir al turismo del deporte, negocios, esparcimiento, cultura y recreación, brindando servicios de calidad y atención amable de sus habitantes.
Este domingo las campanadas que tradicionalmente anuncia la celebración de la misa en la Catedral de Morelia, en esta ocasión también fue la celebración y bienvenida que a nombre de todos los ciudadanos les brindó a los visitantes el máximo símbolo de la ciudad.
La fortaleza y entusiasmo de los participantes contagió a todo quien asistió al evento y a quienes en ese momento transitaban por el primer cuadro de la ciudad, los que después de ver sus sonrisas y su emoción, no dudaron en unirse a esta fiesta en la que jóvenes con parálisis cerebral daban maestría de las ganas de vivir, de la voluntad de seguir adelante.
Las porras que los familiares y representantes de las delegaciones lanzaban a sus preferidos, daba más fortaleza a los competidores para lograr un lugar en esta justa, mientras tanto, la mirada de las madres reflejaban orgullo y preocupación por los incidentes que se hacen comunes en estas competencias.
La presidenta de la Asociación Mexicana de Deportes para Personas con Parálisis Cerebral, Liliana Suárez Carreón, agradeció al presidente Wilfrido Lázaro Medina, todo el apoyo para este evento y resaltó que en Morelia el eslogan “suma de voluntades, queda cortó, ya que es difícil encontrar espacios y el compromiso de un gobierno para que te apoyen con eventos de personas con discapacidad y en esta ciudad nos apoyaron como nunca”.
La inauguración oficial de esta ruta deportiva, corrió a cargo de la presidenta del DIF Morelia, Maggy Oribio de Lázaro, quien a nombre propio y de su esposo el presidente municipal Wilfrido Lázaro Medina presente también en esta celebración, reconoció el esfuerzo de las asociaciones de deportes para personas con discapacidad para realizar encuentros de este tipo, asimismo, felicitó y agradeció a los padres y familias de los participantes por su compromiso por el bienestar de sus hijos.
En tanto el alcalde de Morelia, resaltó la presencia del medallista olímpica Ernesto Cantó quien ha visitado de manera frecuente la ciudad para apoyar la realización de varios eventos deportivos que el Instituto Municipal del Deporte (IMDE) ha logrado las sedes.
El IMDE cuidó cada uno de los detalles para garantizar a los deportistas una carrera segura y en todo momento el área médica de la dependencia se mantuvo atenta a incidentes, además se contó con el respaldo de Protección Civil y de la Dirección de Seguridad Ciudadana. En tanto todo el personal del IMDE al frente de Miguel Ángel García Meza, se mantuvo atento para cubrir las necesidades de los deportistas y para lograr el éxito que registró esta fiesta deportiva.
Al evento además, asistieron la regidora Marbella Romero, el secretario de la Juventud en el Estado, Francisco Lara Medina, y la presidenta de la Asociación Michoacana de Deporte para Personas con Discapacidad, Lucila Osorio.

You really missed the big picture TAXES. There are no tobacco taxes on this product. If the e-cig catches on, there is really no way to add taxes to it without putting all the tobacco taxes on the nicotrol inhaler, too. Big pharm companies will not tolerate this, as their product is a «medicine». Money always talks. And by the way, the nicotrol inhaler is much more expensive. I quit smoking completely about 4 months ago and cannot tolerate cig smoke anymore. I bought these for my husband so he can smoke in the house no smell at all. They also come with a variety of levels including no nicotine at all. This in itself should help smokers quit. Let’s get rid of the tobacco taxes and all smoke e-cigs no second hand smoke. Wouldn’t that be great?
