Vargas, Venezuela – Una unidad de atención a niños con autismo, que fusiona el protocolo biomédico con el enfoque socioeducativo, fue inaugurada este miércoles en el Centro de Atención Psicofamiliar el Niño y el Mar, ubicado en Catia La Mar, estado Vargas.
El espacio, que es pionero en Venezuela, recibirá diariamente a niños varguenses que tengan esta condición, y que anteriomente se dirigían a la Maternidad Concepción Palacios en Caracas para ser atendidos.

En el acto de inauguración de esta unidad estuvo presente el gobernador Garcia Carneiro, quien destacó su dispisición para crear más centros que atiendan las necesidades sociales de los varguenses.
