CON ÉXITO CONCLUYEN CONFERENCIAS DERECHOS HUMANOS Y DISCAPACIDAD

Campeche, México – Las personas con discapacidad son seres humanos comprometidos siempre con lo que hacen, demuestran en cada acto su potencial y creatividad, y están dispuestos a seguir en el camino del esfuerzo para conseguir sus metas, convirtiéndose en un ejemplo para todos nosotros, señaló, la encargada del despacho de la Dirección General, Laura Cecilia Pinzón Ceballos, en la clausura del ciclo de conferencias «Derechos Humanos y Discapacidad, Construyendo un Nuevo Paradigma».

En representación de la Presidenta del Patronato del DIF Estatal, Adriana Hernández de Ortega, la encargada del despacho de la Dirección General, clausuró el evento celebrado en el en el auditorio «Luis Donaldo Colosio», del municipio de Escárcega, donde asistió, el Presidente Municipal, Fernando Caballero Buenfil y su esposa, la Presidenta del Patronato, Carmen Pérez de Caballero; Pinzón Ceballos, agradeció, al conferencista Emmanuel Bautista Hernández, (persona invidente ) y, Visitador de la Comisión Nacional de los Derechos Humanos, por ser un ejemplo de superación para las personas con discapacidad, demostrando que se pueden vencer barreras y ser parte de una sociedad activa y progresista.

Pinzón Ceballos, subrayó, el éxito con que concluyó el primer ciclo de conferencias, que realizó el DIF Estatal en coordinación con la Comisión Nacional y Estatal de Derechos Humanos, asimismo, agradeció, a los Sistemas DIF Municipales, por todo el apoyo prestado para la realización del evento, en cada una de las sedes, donde las personas con discapacidad y sus familiares, tuvieron la oportunidad de conocer aspectos legales y su aplicación en su vida diaria.

Las pláticas se programaron en 2 periodos, el primero en el mes de julio, dedicado a las personas que viven en los municipios de: Tenabo, Calkiní, Hecelchakán y Campeche, y, en el segundo ciclo celebrado en agosto, se atendieron los municipios de: Hopelchén, Carmen, Palizada, Champotón, Calakmul, Candelaria y Escárcega.

En cada una de las visitas, asistieron los padres de familia, personas con discapacidad, maestros de Educación Especial y el público en general, que mostraron mucho interés, porque tuvieron la oportunidad de conocer las normas en la aplicación de los derechos y obligaciones de las personas con discapacidad y de la sociedad en general, que mostrando interés por los conocimientos presentados por el Visitador del CNDH y licenciado en derecho, egresado de la Universidad Autónoma de San Luis Potosí.

-El DIF sigue trabajando para ser una sociedad plena e incluyente, ellos, saben que no están solos, cada día buscamos estrategias de integración, ya sea mediante la puesta en marcha del transporte adaptado, el Centro Cultural «Leovigildo Gómez y el programa «Si te cuesta, respetar ponte un día en mi lugar»-.

En cada conferencia, Bautista Hernández, compartió, a través del modelo social, que las personas con discapacidad manifiestan su búsqueda para ser reconocidos como sujetos con derechos y obligaciones.

Antes de concluir, señaló, que Campeche es una ciudad progresista porque desarrolla programas incluyentes en beneficio de toda la sociedad, no dejando fuera a las personas con discapacidad.

Al final de la conferencia, la encargada del Despacho de la Dirección General del DIF Estatal, acompañada de las Presidenta de los Patronatos de Escárcega, Carmen Pérez de Caballero; de Candelaria, Ofelia Guzmán de Salomón; Silvia Serrano de González, de Calakmul y la Coordinadora de las personas con discapacidad del DIF Estatal, Rosa Elena Bernés Buaiz, entregaron un reconocimiento al Visitador de la CNDH Germán Bautista Hernández, por su loable participación.

En la clausura, también se contó con la participaron de 200 niños, niñas y adolescentes que asisten a los Centros de Atención Múltiple (CAM) y a las Unidades Básicas de Rehabilitación (UBR) y padres de familia de los municipios de Candelaria, Calakmul y Escárcega.
