Apodado \u2018Radio\u2019 por su famosa colecci\u00f3n de radios y su amor por la m\u00fasica, empuja su carrito arriba y abajo de las calles. \u00c9l no habla con nadie y es raro que alguien se dirija a \u00e9l, hasta que un d\u00eda, el entrenador Harold Jones (Ed Harris), uno de los hombres m\u00e1s respetados del pueblo, y entrenador del popular equipo de f\u00fatbol del instituto, se hace amigo suyo. Poco a poco, el entrenador Jones se gana la confianza de Radio y abre un nuevo mundo ante \u00e9l.
